Congratulations to Angela Stanford, who won her first LPGA Major at the Evian Championship. Her 18 years on tour brought her five LPGA Tour wins, 94 top 10-finishes, and six Solheim Cup appearances, but this was her first Major win, and first win in six years.
She won one stroke over four other players to clench the victory at the Evian Championship at Evian Golf Club Resort in France.
She said after her win, “It’s the one thing I couldn’t get my hands on. I’m not letting go now.”
